Last December a group of us got together to think about how we might commemorate our friends Kirstie and Jonny. Whilst meeting up once in a while and drinking too much is a marvellous idea which they both would have appreciated, we also wanted to do something more positive, and so decided to re-create the old Devizes school sponsored walk - which we last did together in the late 80's.

We will be walking the original 12 mile route on the 20th May 2006 to raise money for the Bristol Cancer Help Centre. The Bristol Cancer Help centre has been chosen because of the support, practical help and hope they gave to Kirstie.

Jonny's friends and family, have also indicated their wish to support this charity in memory of Kirstie and Jonny and many thanks to them for agreeing that all funds raised should go to this very worthwhile cause.
