<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am running the London Marathon for Butterwick Hospice and this is my second year.</p> <p>&nbsp;Butterwick Hospice takes care of children and adults who have life limiting illnesses, and is very&nbsp;close to my heart.&nbsp; The hospice looked after my aunty before she passed&nbsp;away with cancer and as well as providing love and care for her they also supported and cared for my family during what was a very difficult time.&nbsp; They continued helping us even after my aunty passed and myself and my family are eternally grateful for all that they did.&nbsp; It is because of this that i want to raise money so that the charity can continue helping families just like mine.</p> <p>I am by no stretch of the imagination a 'sporty' person and the only exercise i used to get was walking to the corner shop for sweets.&nbsp; Despite this i dug deep and completed last years marathon in 6hrs 19mins, a time which may not be good for a seasoned runner but&nbsp;for&nbsp;a salad dodger&nbsp;like me was a huge achievement.</p> <p>This year, like last year, i have not set any time goals and simply getting myself over the finish line within 8hrs will be enough for me.&nbsp; As long as i raise as much money as i can i will be very happy.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thankyou so much for visiting my page, and remember that every penny you donate will make it easier for me to haul my a**e through the streets of london! :)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
