Story
Hey All
Who knows someone in their life who has been affected by cancer - or maybe you have? It's a word that strikes fear into the heart of every individual - I lost my Brother to bowel cancer 7 years ago - it's something I carry with me every day as do many others with loved ones they have lost. It robs the lives of people we love and is something that can strike anyone no matter who you are. But it also can be beaten and bring out the strength and courage to survive many do not know they are capable of.
Working for Urgent Care 24, an out of hours GP service, this is my, as well as my fellow colleagues, first attempt at a triathlon and indeed raising money for the charity we have chosen as Clatterbrige Centre of Oncology - providing invaluable and immense support to people battling cancer and support to their families battling it with them.
