Story

Dear All

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please donate as little or as much as you can and sponsor me online.

As you probably know, I ran the London Marathon on April 13th and enjoyed every second - despite the rain - thanks to the support of family, friends and members of Ful On Tri, my triathlon club through which I gained my marathon place.

In the spirit of the London Marathon I thought it would be nice to raise some money for a deserving cause. On the day, I wore my Taking Dave With Me wristband, in memory of Dave Aitchison, a member of FOT who died very suddenly last year of an undetected heart condition. He was only 29 but already making his mark on the triathlon world and set for a great future.

I have decided it is therefore rather fitting to raise money for The Dave Aitchison Sportsaid Fund, set up by his family to help triathletes, both disabled and able-bodied, to fulfil their dreams in the sport which brought Dave so much pleasure.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sportsaid will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

All the best
