Story

VA VA VICTORY GOES FOR GOLD AGAIN!

Thank you for visiting our 4 Peaks Challenge fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online and help improve the lives of the UK's disadvantaged and disabled children.

The team (all serving members of the Royal Navy) are once again taking part in the Wooden Spoon 4 Peaks challenge, a race up four mountains in 4 different countries in 48 hours. The event takes place at the end of June and starts with Ben Nevis. It's then south to Helvellyn, west to Snowdon and then across the water to Ireland for the last peak, Carantouhill.

We are the small fry amongst some pretty big and powerful corporate and company teams but we will still win the most money raised award with your help - The fundrasing target above is the MINIMUM we HAVE to raise - Last year we raised a staggering £33,333.33 and in 2007 we managed £31,500, but we hope to beat that in '09. We really want to go over £35,500 to bring the 3 year total to over £100,000.

Tell your friends, tell your family, tell everybody and be part of the Va Va Victory success story!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Wooden Spoon will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

          So please sponsor us now!

                      Many thanks for your support.
