Story

I'm hoping to make a difference to many brain injured children in the UK by putting myself through lots of pain & more cold than ever before- please help me make it worthwhile!

Less than 400 people have ever been to the summit of Mt. Vinson in the Antarctic- being 2000 miles from civilisation it is the most remote place on earth, bar none. My aim is to be the first Yorkshireman ever to conquer the summit.

After 15 miles pulling our 52kg sleds & carrying 25kg back packs we will climb up to the summit over 6 days- approx .14th Jan.

We will be flying out on the 6th Jan 2007 and when we come back is very weather dependant, but the end of Jan/early February is the best guess- fingers crossed!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Child Brain Injury Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now, or get your company to sponsor me!

Many thanks for your support.

Simon
