Vultures in Africa are being poisoned on mass, they are being forced into extinction even more quickly than the dinosaurs. In the last 10 years 60% of the population has died. Vultures are a key part of the ecosystem, they remove carcasses from the savannah. Some of these carcasses have died from rabies, anthrax and ebola all of which the vultures can digest removing these harmful diseases from the ecosystem protecting other animals in the process.
