One day of February 2010, Bernard (with chicken pox) had a faboulous idea: to join the wacky rally down to Barcelona in July. It sounded like a great concept, buying a car for less than £250 and driving the banger through Europe for charity. Luckily, as none of us knows anything about cars we think it is possible ... or isn't?

We want to raise money for a charity meaningful to a lot of people so we have chosen Cancer Reserach UK.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Their groundbreaking work has saved millions of lives. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.

As you know, there is still a lot of areas to explore to beat cancer and to give hope to millions of people. Cancer Reserach UK is doing an amazing job.
