We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Our dear friend Wendy Lloyd (d 24/3/2011) spent the last weeks of her life being cared for by Marie Curie Cancer Care, Penarth. She and her husband, family and friends are deeply indebted to this hospice for the care and support they received at this very difficult time.

Mairi Higham, Lucia Hutter and Alison Johnson have joined together to raise money for this charity. Our lives are all touched by cancer and Mairi's mother was looked after by Marie Curie CC at the end of her life 2 1/2 yrs ago. Lucia's husband has recently completed many months of intensive cancer treatment. Alison's 13yr old son Padi has been fighting cancer for nearly 3 yrs. Just a few £'s from a lot of people could make so much difference, thanks for your support!

We plan to walk about 14 miles on 14th May 2011 to meet up with Alison's husband and his team who hope to be completing a 100 mile walk for two other cancer charities.

You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help however small.
