The National Three Peaks walk involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland.  These are Ben Nevis,Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

There are many different ways to complete the 3 peaks challange but for those who are brave, noble or just plain stupid, the way forward is to climb all 3 within the space of 24 hours, this is the.. – TheThreePeaksChallenge!!

To complete the challenge we must ascend and descent all three peaks, including transport between them within 24 hours.

There are 18 teams from ntl:Telewest Business taking part in this challenge and we are all raising money for charity.

We will be climbing the 3 Peaks in the following order, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike andSnowdon.

The Walkabout team have nominated Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity as our charity as we wnat to contribute to childrens health and wellfare.

The rules are:

1.  One member of the team must complete all 3 peaks

2.  Two members of the team must complete a minimum of 2 peaks

3.  One member of the team must complete a minimum of 1peak

4.  One member of the core team of 4 must NOT have done any regular exercise between January 2006 and January 2007
