Story

We're happy to say that LawWorks team strode over the finish line at Hampton Court last night, and straight into the King's Arms for a well-deserved pint of ale.

The route ended up being almost 50 miles over the two days, which was very tough on the joints!  The recovery period may be a long one.  Originally we thought we were starting from the flood barrier.  In fact it was another 8 miles or so further east, out at Erith.

Yes - it's Valentine's Day weekend.  How much do we love pro bono?

If you can spare a donation the team will be very grateful.  We will be splitting the funds raised 50:50 between the Trust and LawWorks itself.

Every year thousands of people rely on free legal advice services to help them through difficult circumstances.  The work of the organisations that provide this assistance is consistently underfunded and in need of ongoing support.  The LLST helps raise and then distribute funds to local advice providers.  LawWorks provides direct pro bono services to the public and to small charites and not-for-profit groups.  It also seeks to engage lawyers in pro bono activities.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the charities receive your donations faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks to all our walkers and sponsors!

About the charity
