Eighteen Abbott staff from across the UK have volunteered to run the 2009 Great North Run on the 20th September in support of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease (NACC).

NACC provides crucial support and information on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) for the 1 in 400 people in the UK that are effected by Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis, and this year the team has set itself an ambitious goal to raise £7,000 for the charity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor the team including the opportunity to attribute your donation to specific team members via the comments section: The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease - NACC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please support us by giving generously. The Bupa Great North Run, the world’s biggest half marathon, will take place on Sunday 20th September. Regardless of whether we are seasoned marathon runners or have started a new health regime to complete this event, this will be a challenge for everyone.

So please sponsor us now!

When making a donation please...

STATE THE FULL NAME OF THE RUNNER YOU ARE SPONSORING FIRST IN YOUR MESSAGE

... so we can attribute your donation correctly.
