Story

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to find out what this is all about.

We are raising money for Ryedale Special Families and the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat (private owned Lifeboat) both are very worthy causes, read more below via the links.

Myself and 8 others are going to cycle across the country from Walney Island in Cumbria (Irish Sea) to Runswick Bay near Whitby (North Sea). Including accommodation diversions this should be 212 miles in all taking in the Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors! Few hills in there including Tan Hill with the highest pub in England on top (plenty of Real Ale motivation).

The team are all around 40 years old and lacking in fitness !!! but we have been training and are confident we can achieve this in the 3 days from 7th to 10th October.

Anything you could give would be appreciated so thanks again for clicking through. If you are donating please mention the team member you are sponsoring; Jason Aldrich, Simon Aldrich, John James, Mike Terry, Mark Peil, Ben Worth, David Lindley, Ian Dunlop or Richard McLane.
