Story
Welcome to my Fundraising Page
I have agreed to participate in a 250-mile group charity bike ride between London and Paris this coming June in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Marie Curie Cancer Care is one of the UK’s oldest charities and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. I am riding with a team of 13 other people who are all aiming to raise a combined minimum total of £5000.
The team includes: Warren Calvert, Roddy Graham, Ivor Johnson, Karen Bowen, Paul Newman, Matt Lenton, Patrick Lucas, Jeremy Snook, Chris Snook, Mark Ley, John Wilson, Edward Pigg, Richard Boyce and Richard Simmonds.
For all of the latest photos and news regarding the ride please visit our official London to Paris website at:

The Challenge
The team will start from Parliament Square at 6.00am on Thursday June 19 and will ride 70 miles to Folkestone before catching a 16.30 shuttle to Calais, where we will stay overnight.
Day two will start painfully for most at a more civilised 9.00am and will cover 70 miles between Calais and Abbeville.
Day three will be all about getting through the day and will see the team ride 55 miles between Abbeville and Beauvais.
The final day from Beauvais is a mere 55 miles into Paris.
After celebrations and a much deserved rest, the team will return home by minibus on Monday, June 23.
