The cycling challenge - Lands End to John O'Groats in ten days, starting on 27th May. 1000 miles is quite a feat for a fit young athlete – unfortunately, at aged fifty two I don’t fall into that bracket!  To make things a bit harder, there will only be two of us cycling & we will be carrying everything we need (no support vehicle!) which will make the hills just that much harder. Most people take 2-3 weeks to complete it, so it’s going to be tough, not only on the legs but also on the ‘rear’…I’m told the saddle doesn’t get used much!
