Raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and helping to raise awareness of it at the same time!
I bet my dad is cursing himself right now, after all this idea stemed from something he said!
My youngest sister is about to do work experience at a beauticians, and my dad jokingly said that once she had done her work placement she could wax his legs! Now my sister is not one to miss a trick, and quickly decided he would have his legs waxed, and earn some money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society while she was at it. Since then, another 6 fellas have offered their legs to us, my brother in law, my hubby to be and a few good friends who are all going around collecting sponsorship as I type, not bad seeing as this only started 3 days ago! We've not just picked the MS Society out of thin air to give the money we raise too, my sister decided it had to be this one as I was diagnoised with mild MS in February of this year and she wanted to do something for that - which of course I thought was a fantastic idea, so am helping in every way I can. Basically we're not asking you to give us your life savings, anything you can spare will make a huge difference, a couple of quid here and a couple of quid there all adds up and will help make a real difference. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Multiple Sclerosis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
