I would like to take just a moment to explain who I am and also a bit of back ground as to why I want to raise money for This charity.

My Name is Wayne Hopkins, I’m 22 years old. I recently lost my mother to a very fast developing form of Cancer. I helped nurse My mother during the months that she was ill. We had a lot of very difficult times, including visits to hospital, long restless nights due to worrying what you may wake up to and the constant upset that she went through. My mother meant the absolute world to me and to just see her so worried and upset at the prospect of what was to come really broke my heart.

This went on for some weeks until The Paul Sartori Nurses stepped in to Help care for her. Now I would like to just add that You just don’t realise how special these people really are until the help you! They don’t usually operate in our county, although in this case they made a special exception. During the weeks that my mother was still in consciousness we spoke about doing something to raise money for this truly special charity. My mother passed away peacefully on the 16th of July this year leaving behind myself and my 14 year old brother and 6 year old sister.

So now I have decided to confront one of my very worst fears, heights.

I Plan to do a skydive on the 6th of December 2008 along with my good friend Richard to raise as much money as we possibly can for Paul Sartori. We hope to raise money to help this little charity carry on their special work for many more years.
