I (Kevin Weaver) have agreed to participate in the ‘Tenovus 500 mile around Wales' challenge visiting all 22  Civic centres of unitary authorities throughout the Principality because I recently received news of three friends diagnosed with cancer, after speaking to one those concerned it really hit home to me the great work and suport that Tenovus gives to the families of those affected by the disease. 

Tenovus also happens to be the chosen charity for The Mayor of Torfaen who is passionate to raise money to support the portable treatment station which travels around the country and collared me at a local function to assist this fantastic charity after my trek the length of Britain last year.      

Following my three previous sponsored rides from Pontypool to Weymouth, Pontypool to St David’s Cathedral in west Wales and recently completing the marathon John O’Groats to Lands End cycle ride, achieving this once-in-a-lifetime challenge in just 8 days, for three local charities this will become a huge challenge not for milage but the mountainous terrain. 

So please give for a big effort and an even bigger cause
