Story
We are going to be taking part in the Great North Swim on 13th September, which is a one mile swim up the side of Lake Windermere. It's going to involve some rubber, some Vaseline, some freezing cold water, and quite possibly some angry fish, but I promise there will be no mention of a boat.
Lou and I will be raising money for the SNAP Project, a part of the Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society. My daughter Sophie, was born with a rare chromosome defect that has caused areas of her brain to not form properly. Although Sophie does not have Cerebral Palsy, the Project provides specialist play workers to carry out play sessions with children who have life limiting or life threatening conditions, in turn providing much needed respite to the families of these children. This charity has provided support and guidance to my wife and I since Sophie was born, and raising this money is a small way of us doing something good for them in return.
So please give generously and support this worthwhile organisation. Thanks very much. Mike and Lou
