At last I have found a sporting event where my weight is an advantage.

The Avon Gorge Zip Slide Challenge will be helping to raise funds for a new state of the art medical ward for the Bristol Children’s Hospital.

The zip line is a 300ft slide down the side of the Avon Gorge suspended on a tight metal cable at break-neck speeds of over 40mph!

With your support we will be able to create a child friendly, art enhanced environment for a new medical ward also including an outside garden, a private rest area for families and 20 individual en suite bedrooms for patients, where parents can comfortably stay with their children.
