On July 12^th three brothers from Pembrokeshire are setting off to cycle 1000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats raising money for Ty Hafan the children’s Hospice in Wales. The Worley boys,    Dan 18, Olly 16 and younger brother Joe 14, along with their Dad local carpenter Mark from Cresselly aim to complete the journey in two weeks. Joining them will be Phil, a friend from Yorkshire while Phil’s wife Kerry and Mark’s wife Anna will act as support crew for the boys keeping them fed and watered along route and setting up camp each night. Keen cyclists the boys have been training hard and are looking forward to the challenge.  This will be the second long distance charity cycle ride for the intrepid brothers – they cycled the C2C the width of Britain when Joe was only 9 and raised over £750 for Sport Relief. This route should take us through some of the most picturesque parts of the British Isles and while the ride will be physically and mentally challenging Mark has made it clear to the boys that it is not a race and that as this is also our summer holiday he plans to enjoy the scenery and sample one or two of the local ales along the way! The boys are hoping to raise in excess of£1000 for Ty Hafan - equivalent to £1 for every mile cycled!
