This July, a team of six students from the south west will leave the UK and attempt to drive 10,000 miles to the capital of Mongolia; Ulaanbaatar. An immense undertaking, approximately half the teams that participate in the Mongol Rally never make it to Mongolia, their vehicles giving up the ghost at some point on the journey. This year, Team Yak To The Future will attempt to take not just one car all the way to Mongolia, but three.
On arrival, our vehicles,
three Suzuki Swifts, will be donated to Mongolian families. We also aim to raise at least
£3000 for Mercy Corps, a charity funding other projects in the country. In order to achieve this we need your help. Whether a penny, a pound or ten pounds, any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Though we have now reached this target, please keep donating - we will continue to up the target as long as people donate. Every single pound raised will make a big difference in Mongolia itself. All the money we raise on this page will go to Mercy Corps, and not towards our expedition expenses. We are also raising money for the
Gurkha Welfare Trust. If you would like to make a donation to this charity, please visit
