Story
As the crisis in Syria starts its sixth year, the risk of losing a generation grows with every day that the situation deteriorates. More than three million children have not attended schools or any type of education for several years.
I am participating in Great Manchester Run 2016 to support the education of the children of Iqraa School, Syria. This school was established by Rethink Rebuild Society and Syria Relief Charity and opened its doors for the children of Al-Sahara village on 15th September 2014. The school has accommodated about 400 pupils aged 6 to 15 including displaced and orphan children and provided them with education, psychological and medical support.
