Thanks for reading this. My reward will be climbing Ben Nevis in September. I like mountains. My challenge will be raising as much money as I can for the Alzheimer's Society. I am making it fun and am arranging an assortment of interesting activities. A little taster of events include yoga, delicious cakes, my exclusive speed dating event to be held on Thursday 7 May and more... My incentive is to raise money for charity, at the same time as making you smile! And why the Alzheimer's Society? What better way than to support a charity which really needs our support. I have always been drawn to people older than me. They have a wealth of life experience; a fountain of knowledge, which inspires and steers us all. Dementia prohibits this. Dementia can rob us all and has a devastating affect on families and loved ones. There are about 700,000 people in the UK with dementia. It mainly affects older people but it can also affect younger people. One in three people over 65 will die with dementia.
