Dear Friends, Colleagues and Wayfarers,

I have accepted a challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Friends of The Citizen Foundation... 'helping make illiteracy history'.  (www.FTCF.org.uk)

Their work, which focuses on providing near-free high quality education to the poorest children in the slums of Pakistan has inspired me to attempt to take on 2 ridiculous challenges within a time frame of 2 months....

firstly to raise enough money to run a primary school of 200 children for a year - £8800!!

and secondly to climb a mountain 20,000 feet high in 2 months time with NO trekking experience.... 

You are all suffering from donation apathy but I really would like you to dig deep to help me reach my goals...i'll need some serious cash from all my professional friends!
