We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I am planning to run in the first ever Brighton marathon on Sunday 18th April of this year.  As warm ups I entered the Sussex half marathon which took place on Sunday 21st February, completing in a time of 2h16m47s.  I have also entered the Hastings Half marathon which took place on Sunday 21st March and completed in a time of 2h2m16s.

I decided very recently that I would like to raise sponsorship for the Royal National Institute for the blind as I have recently discovered that I have lost sight permanently in my left eye.  I believe very strongly in sight being a wonderful gift we have in life and I hope to conquer my own inner demons as well as raise well earned cash to help the RNIB further their good work in tackling blindness by running in both these events.

I hope you can help in what ever way you can, small is beautiful and goes a long way!

With love and light and a little sight, positive and strong wishes for a happy future to you all.

Paul..xx
