Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page

The above group are ten 10:10:10ers, they have committed to 10 x 10k races in 2010.  All the races must be official races with recorded times but can be made up of half marathons and even marathons for the slightly less sane amongst us!

As we progress through the year we will update our fund raising target but if we can turn the event into a 10:10:10..£10k then as founder James will run in the final race in fancy dress as suggested by members of our 10:10:10 facebook group.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for ST Leonards Hospice in York, the hospice provides care and support for people threatened by life threatening illnesses.  The Hospice is almost entirely supported by charitable donations.  A member of this groups family has had first hand experience of the excellent care they provide which is the motivation but by no means the only the reason for supporting this wonderful charity.
