Story
Challenge100 is a Duke of Edinburgh's International Award campaign encouraging young award participants to complete a challenge incorporating the number 100.
The challenge commemorates HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh's work as the founder of the award, who encouraged young people to discover their infinite potential, as this year would’ve been his 100th birthday.
As an award participant, I love what The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award stands for; it’s all about young people gaining new skills and finding their purpose, passion and place in the world in a non-formal educational environment.
That’s why for my Challenge100, I’ve decided to ask 100 questions. That’s is, ask 20 young people 5 questions each about their participation in an activity outside of school work and university and how it has contributed to their personal development.
Challenge100 aims to raise funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's International award to assist young people from at risk, and marginalised backgrounds complete their award and become #WORLDREADY, just like the people I’ve interviewed, which you see over the coming weeks. I also hope you are inspired by the young people I've interviewed and become empowered to involve yourself in similar ways.
