Story
In 2014 we lost a very good friend of ours, Tom Groombridge. Tom was a primary school teacher in Abertillery, a keen Rugby player for Rogerstone RFC, enjoyed clay pigeon shooting & enjoyed life to the full before his life was tragically cut short to Cancer when he was only 29.
Throughout his treatment Tom always remained positive, never complaining and always grateful for those who helped & supported him through those difficult times.
When Tom lost his mobility the staff at Rookwood Hospital in Cardiff helped him regain his independence, which gave Tom a renewed mobility during the last months of his life.
Every year we try & raise funds for Rookwood hospital as a thank you for the amazing care & the way they looked after our friend & to help them help others in the future.
We’re aiming to donate £1000 by riding “1000 miles For Tom” so any donation you can make will take us a step closer to achieving our goal.
Thank you for helping us raise money to help this wonderful unit that makes a difference to the lives who use it.
