A good day for Scarface quickly turned into a not-so-good day, as the rapper was arrested following the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Friday (Oct. 9). At the ceremony ‘Face was presented with the “I Am Hip-Hop” award, the show’s equivalent to a lifetime achievement honor. The show was filmed at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center, and the Houston native was arrested in the city thereafter.

The 42-year-old rapper was taken into custody because of an outstanding warrant due to unpaid child support. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail, and is reportedly still in custody. His bond has been set at $482,190. Back in 2010, Scarface was also arrested for failure to pay child support. He was jailed in Texas for owing over $120,000 in total, in four different cases; bond was previously set at 123, 372.
