We fund research into childhood cancer to save and improve young lives

Story

In April I, and some other mentalists, did 24 hours of burpees (totalling over 45,000 of them) to raise £4,000 for The Make A Wish Foundation.

It's time to do something daft again.

On the 23 of October, we will be climbing the height of Everest (and back down) in 24 hours.

5 miles up. 5 miles down.

Up and down the '108 Steps' in Macclesfield (opposite the train station, between The Nag's Head and The Old Millstone) every 2m 24s for 24 hours.

It takes 2 months to climb the mountain itself.

Of course, conditions will be better in Macclesfield. But the pace will be hard.

4 of us are doing the full climb though - myself, Alan Motyer-Lowndes, Paul Baker and James Kirwan.

It will be beyond hard.

But, ultimately it's for a great cause - kids with cancer.

All cancer is, of course, horrible.

But children getting it is particularly awful.

Whatver we can do to help even a few children and their familes will be more than worthwhile.

Please donate whatever you can :)
