After completing the famous 3 Peak Challenge last year the team is back for some more mental and physical punishment, this time pushing the boundaries of endurance that little bit further.
Additional members have joined the elite including Michael Morrison (aka Moz), his brother Rioggy, Michael Thame and Graeme Summers.
The challenge is to hike across 24 peaks of the Lake District over a 2 day period including the famous Skiddaw and Scafell peaks which are each over 3000 ft. In completing this challenge we will have travelled a distance of approximately 31 miles or a cummulative height of 13,300 ft (considering Mount Everest is 29,035 thats not bad going....I just hope we won't need additional oxygen).
The team has been training hard and the experience from last year has been fed back to the newest members.
A wise man once said: 'A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first'.
Obviously we are not going to leave anyone behind but it is crucial that as a team we are physically and mentally prepared for this challenge.
