Hello all,

   We are taking part in Banger Run 2010 and need your help.  The event is in support of Help for Heroes and consists of driving 2500 miles in a car costing no more than £250.  With a route that covers an ambitious 12 countries in 4 days, including driving the Nurburgring and Monaco GP circuits, mountainous roads through the Alps and leading up to at the end of the run, you can see we have our work cut out.

Our amazing Car/Bus (well Daihatsu Hijet) will definitely see us safely around the course probably in record time all we need now is help from our friends to achieve our target of £1000.

The basic itinerary will be: 

Day 1 - 14 Aug 2010

to Nurberg (approx 5 hrs 30 mins) 357 miles, passing via through , , , and .

Overnight stop Nurburg.

Day 2 - 15 Aug 2010

Nurburgring.

Then Nurburg to Luxembourg (approx 2 hrs) 96 miles
Luxembourg to Lichtenstein (approx 5 hrs) 300 miles
(travelling through countries Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Lichtenstein)

Night stop nr Lichtenstein

Day 3 - 16 Aug 2010

Lichtenstein to Milan (approx 3 hrs) 180 miles
Milan to Monaco (approx 3 hrs) 190 miles (6 hrs avoiding toll roads)
(countries traversed Italy, Monaco)

Night Stop near Monaco (as near as we can find campsite-wise!)

Day 4 - 17 Aug 2010

Monaco Grand Prix circuit.

to (approx 7 hrs 30 mins) 450 miles (11 hrs avoiding toll roads)
