Fundraising for HCPT
Story
The team is assembled, the routes are planned and the training is..... uphill!
On the 24th September 2010 Catherine, Clare, John, Danny and PJ will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge. The Challenge is to climb the three highest peaks in Britain (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in less than 24hrs.
We will be raising funds for The HCPT, Group 206. The HCPT takes thousands of children with disabilities or other special needs to Lourdes every year. It is a chance for them to enjoy a holiday with other young people and also gives their parents and carers a well needed rest.
It costs around £710 to take each child and we hope to raise enough money for a child to go in 2011.
