We provide integrated therapies to help children reach their potential

Story

We have now completed our challenge in a very respectable 22hrs and 3mins and that was with getting lost in the dark on Scafell and a small glitch of putting petrol in a diesel engine!!  It was mad but exhilarating to be part of this adventure and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who have supported us and the London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy.  As expected it was extremely hard work, especially with the gorgeous British summer helping with gale force winds and monsoon rain ... but the send off the children at the school gave us kept us going throughout and made it so worthwhile.

Once again, thank you for your continuous support.
The 3 Peaks Team!

It's now just a few days before we go on this amazing (crazy?) adventure and we are all very very excited - and praying for some good weather!!!

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH to all of you who've already sponsored us.   It means a lot to us and all the children and teachers at the Centre!

All the kids and teachers at the Centre are very excited and will be waiving us off on Friday at 10am.

The team has been training hard and are hopefully physically and mentally ready to go.  Us drivers are ... well dreading the whole thing to be honest, but excited!  The food has been ordered, the camping stoves for soups/tea/coffee are on their way, all the emergency numbers have been sought, the neurofen, arnica, and numerous plasters are at the ready.

So please, if you haven't sponsored us, please do so now.  £10 or £100 - it all goes a long way to achieving our goal and to ensure that these kids go on school trips just like any other kid.

Thank you.

We are a group of MAD parents and friends brought together by our spirit of adventure and willingness to help a good cause. We are taking on the 3 Peaks challenge, climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland (4409 ft), Scafell in England (3209 ft) and Snowdon in Wales (3560ft) - all in 24 grueling hours on 18 July 09See here what has motivated some of us (click 'go back one page' to return to our JustGiving page).

Together we plan to raise money to buy The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy (Hornsey Trust - Conductive Education centre) a much needed school bus to take the children on school trips - something they just haven't been able to do to date. The remaining money will go towards a training fund for the hard working teachers and conductors at the school.

Please give generously!!! Jaspar, Hannah and all the children at the school will benefit enormously - and it'll bring a smile (grin) to our faces as we finish this grueling adventure.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! Thank you.
