Thanks for looking at our page. We are walking the Playtex Moonwalk which is a moonlight marathon distance walk through London. All the money we raise is going towards breast cancer research. This is a disease that is close to all women's hearts and affects 1 in 9 women in their lifetime and is the most common cancer in the UK. A year ago Kate (on the right) was diagnosed with breast cancer and thanks to the support of all her friends (Rachel, Claire and her sister Jane are some of them, and brave enough to do this walk, miles of endless chatter!), the doctors, the nurses, the research scientists and the generous fundraising public she is now in remission and able to do this walk. The money you donate goes towards research in battling this most common of diseases and improving the chances of more women surviving to live productive and happy lives.
