On 22rd May this year, our friend Simon Robinson (Robbo) tragically passed away after a short but brave battle with Lymphoma.  Simon was loved by many in Hong Kong, and lived his life to the fullest, whether on the trails, in the bar, or travelling around Asia.

Shortly before he passed away, Simon set himself the goal of running the 4 Trails of Hong Kong in the 4 months before he left for a long trip home.  Sadly his challenge was cut short by his illness before he could complete the final trail.  We're out here a year later trying to complete the challenge in his memory.

This is no easy task.  The trails are all longer than marathon distance, ranging from 48km for the shortest to 100km for the longest.  That's a total of 298km, and over 10,000m of elevation.  That's the equivalent of running 7 standard marathons, or climbing more than the height of Everest.

We're trying to stop anyone else succumbing to this horrible disease by raising 500,000HKD for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Northern Ireland, which will be enough to fund a new research project at Queens University Belfast.  Please donate whatever you can and help us to honour Simon in the only way he would see fit!
