Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the 5 Peaks Challenge. On the 23rd June we climbed the tallest mountain in each of 5 countries in 48 hours. We started in Kerry, Republic of Ireland and climb Carauntouhill then drove north to climb Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland. We took the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead before climbing Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike overnight in England's Lake District and finally summited (and descend safely) the largest, Ben Nevis in Scotland. We descided to do the challenge partly in order to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer - we feel a very worthwhile cause - so please dig deep and sponsor online. Breakthrough Breast Cancer will receive your donation directly and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. We'd like to take the opportunity to thank our super support drivers who gave up their weekend for the cause - and didn't even get to see the views from the peaks we got, except Ben Nevis of course, where they both did great to make it back for dinner! All 8 of us completed the challenge in under 47h 20mins, comfortably enough within the time limit. Thank you again!
