6 good friends have decided to raise money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance in memory of Mark Brown. We will be cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End on 16th September. We plan to cover approx 950 miles in 9 days. To make it a little more interesting we have decided to make this challenging ride on 2 triplet bikes.
In June of last year my brother Mark was involved in a serious fire in his home in Glastonbury. A neighbour and Paramedic found Mark and quickly notified the Air Ambulance. They arrived in a matter of minutes and he was quickly air lifted to Frenchay Hospital where he was taken to the High dependency Burns unit. His condition deteriorated further and he was then taken to the intensive care unit. Mark spent a further 3 weeks here but his injuries were too serious and sadly he died on the morning of 16th July.
Our family have no doubt that without the Air Ambulance's help, we would not have had those precious days when Mark first had his accident.
The Air Ambulance relies on donations to continue doing their great work, please give generously
