I am fundraising because made in Malawi supports the local community by providing funding, advice, learning materials and infrastructure so that children and adults can receive a quality education and also learn necessary life skills in a safe and friendly environment. I will also be donating half of the funds raised to another Charity called the Green Paw project where they help with veterinary care and general anmal welfare where it is needed most and setting up a temporary, free veterinary clinic for all local wild and domestic animals. In fact their aim is to set up various clinics and visit each project site once or twice a year, with the objective of setting up permanent clinics.http://www.greenpawproject.org/

My personal challenge is to complete all of the 127 miles in just 19 hours, if i do not complete it in that time I will go for a swim for just a minute in the canal.
