The pupils of A Star Tuition Group, based in Ramsbottom, are taking part in a Sponsored Spell to raise money to support our NHS heroes in the fight against Covid-19. 

The children, aged between 6 and 14, are working really hard during half term break, to learn their spelling words to get ready for their test, which will take place next term. Each age group has a different list of spellings to learn.

Your sponsorship money will go to East Lancashire Hospital Trust which serves our learning community, their families and a population of around 530,000 people. 

The current health crisis is unprecedented but one constant is the remarkable work of our hospitals and incredible NHS staff. Several A Star Tuition Group pupils have parents who work in the NHS, so it's a cause that's close to the heart of our learning community! 

Your sponsorship will help provide things like care packages and important wellness support for NHS staff, as well as providing much needed equipment, such as PPE. 

By sponsoring the pupils, you will be supporting their learning during school closures as well as saying a massive thank you for all that the NHS is doing to help us during Covid-19.
