Story
In February 2020, the Gloucestershire Cricket board are taking two performances squads on an overseas tour to India. Not only will we be able to play cricket in one of the most exciting cricketing countries in the world but we will also have the opportunity to sample local culture through excursions and sight seeing. The tour will contain fixtures in both Delhi and Jaipur.
Not only will the tour be a once in a life time opportunity, playing cricket in new and challenging conditions, but also a chance to give back and provide cricket kit to underprivileged children while we are India in order to give them the opportunity to play cricket.
To help raise funds for the trip, myself and the tour party are taking part in a running challenge to run the distance between the Raj Mahal (an Indian restaurant in Bristol) and the Taj Mahal in India. This works as 65 miles of running. Everyone that knows me well, will realise that this is quite a difficult challenge for someone who doesn't like running!!
