Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Brake – www.brake.org.uk – are a national charity who work to prevent road casualties, make communities safer, and support families suffering the aftermath of a road crash.
In June 2014, I received a devastating phone call and found out that my 14-year old cousin, Liberty Baker, had been killed that morning whilst walking to school with her friends by a dangerous driver. Brake’s work helped family members during this time and the importance of road safety is at the forefront of our minds. I’ve set myself the challenge of completing the London Marathon 2016 whilst also raising money for Brake and the work that they do. In preparation for the London Marathon and to mark Liberty's 16th birthday on Sunday 11th October I'll also be running the Oxford Half-Marathon. Having only ran a few miles since school both runs and training involved will be extremely challenging and testing and any donations to help me reach my target will be very much appreciated!
