Fundraising for Twins Trust

Story

I will be running the 10 mile south run on the 25th of October for The Twins and Multiple Births Association (Tamba). A charity set up by parents of twins, triplets and higher multiples and interested professionals. It is the only UK wide organisation that directly helps tens of thousands of parents of twins and more and professionals to meet the unique challenges that multiple birth families face. www.tamba.org.uk.

As a young mum of 5 year old twin boys, I struggled in the early years of raising my sons who suffered with different medical problems. I had no choice but to give up my paid employment to look after them. I was so miserable but did not allow my situation deter my dreams. I decided to go self employed working from home. As they grew, they got better and so did my business. I today run a successful medical recruitment agency and contact centre. The challenges for mums with multiple birth is huge coupled with full time work. The thought of so many families out there with these challenges and who are completely helpless and not able to fund the medical issues and challenges that come with multiple birth has triggerd my desire to raise funds and assist TAMBA achieve its goals and objectives. Your donations will go a long way to help underpriviledged families of multiple birth and put a smile on the faces of so many just by what we do.
