Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
My daughter Abigail was stillborn at 41 weeks.
My husband and I were devastated when we found out that Abigail had died, and having to deliver our beautiful little girl by natural means three days later was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Instead of making plans to bring her home we were planning her funeral; something a parent should never have to do for their child.
The staff at the Medway Maritime Hospital were amazing and we can't thank them enough for their support during such a difficult time. We were also lucky to have support from Sands, the Stillborn and Neo-natal death Charity.
I have established my own bridal shop, Abigail’s' Bridalwear (www.abigailbrides.co.uk) in memory of our daughter Abigail and we donate £17 for every wedding dress we sell in memory of the 17 babies that still die everyday.
On the 26th June Keith Jones from K N J Electrical will be
jumping from a plane in Headcorn in Kent, but to spice things up
he will be doing it while wearing one of our wedding dresses!!
