We alleviate suffering and contribute to sustainable development for all Syrians

Story

Over the past four years, citizens of Syria have been in conflict with armed forces causing an uprising. This has led to countless innocent lives being lost at the hands of their corrupt government. This civil war has resulted in over 11 million people (half the country's population before the war) to either be killed or forced to flee their homes. Those who fled have had to face harsh winters, with very limited food supply as well as a lack of shelter, warmth and clothing. Ultimately the has a detrimental effect on the children of Syria, particularly because of the lack of basic medicines causing children and newborns to die before their time due to diseases such as the common cold. Furthermore children have been separated from their parents and have been left to die from starvation whilst the war is ongoing.

Thousands of Syrians flee the country everyday due to the fear they face of dying in the home as a result of bombing and militant actions . However, attempting to flee the country is almost as dangerous as staying in the country as the people of Syria have to try to avoid being shot by snipers or kidnaped by various parties.

I hope that we can raise as much as possible towards this cause, even a small donation could be enough to sustain multiple families for just a month. This one month could effectively be the very difference between life and death and could ultimately help a man, woman or child to have a chance to escape the war and live a normal, safe life.
