On 25th July I will be completing Ironman Switzerland, that's a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, finishing off with a 26.2-mile run. All I have to do is finish within the strict 16 hour cut off and I'll be an ironman! 

I have a feeling its going to be emotional at times! I'm sure my thoughts will turn to my dad and what he would have made of all this (joined in?!) and with that in mind I'd like to take the opportunity to raise money in his memory for Trinity Hospice in Blackpool. 

Hospices in the UK rely on donations for most of their funding so I want to raise as much as possible to help others to benefit from the care given to my dad & my family by Trinity hospice.

Your support will really make a difference to hospice patients & their families. So please sponsor me and make all the early mornings, lost weekends, no social life, sore feet & other body parts worthwhile!

Knowing that by finishing I’ll be raising money for a great cause will also help me to keep going when it gets tough.
