A team of 17 members of staff and postgraduate students from the School of Mathematics, at the University of Manchester, will be making fools of themselves by competing in the Dragon Boat Racing at this year's 2 Cities Boat Race, on Saturday 8th May. The team members are donating £750 to MacMillan Cancer Support to participate in this event - but we hope to raise much more, with your help!

Our very sporting Head of School has agreed to don a very silly duck outfit to lead the team, but we need to raise a further £750 to make this happen. So, please donate generously, both to help a very good cause, and to see your own Head of School dressed like a duck, banging a drum and screaming at the top of his voice (we will also throw him in the drink at the end of the race, if that helps!)
