Story
Well I made it round chaps, just. It took me 1 hour 37 minutes in the end, which isn't bad for a first timer with a knackered groin. I had hoped to go under the 90 minute mark but my body told me otherwise.
Big thanks to Kate and Debs for coming down and laughing at me doing the mass warm up routine and then refusing to give me a piggyback home. For those that didn't fancy standing around on the off chance of spotting me amoung the 20k crowd, I presume you saw me on Channel 5 giving the eventual winner the run for his money? No. hmm, my digital recorder had the same problem.
Anyway on behalf of the British Red Cross and myself, thanks once again for your donations. These guys have a hell of lot more to contend with than a little groin strain, so this money will help a great deal.
Oh by the way Harv says he's doing it next year. Track record is 45 minutes...
