Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The "Tour de Grid" Challenge is a 10 day cycling event with 10 consecutive stages from just north of Peterhead in Scotland to the Isle of Grain in Kent, each starting and ending at one of National Grid's key gas and electricity sites and offices. I have signed up to
ride all of the 10 stages, so I will line up at the start at St Fergus on the 4th September and finish at the Isle of Grain on the 13th September, covering about 1350km (850 miles) and 13,000m (43,000ft) of climbing during the Challenge. I started cycling to train for the event in early April so hopefully will be in good shape to complete the challenge in
September.

The organising committee have worked hard to make this a success for the 100+ people who have signed up to ride at some point and the entire ride will be supported by National Grid employee volunteers to maximise the amount of money we raise for Alzheimer's Society.  I have been set a challenging personal target to raise £1800!!  Any support you are able to give would be greatly appreciated.
